The enoteche (wine outlets) of the Consorzio Vini di Romagna are fascinating. The contexts in which they are housed allow you to breathe in history together with the natural scent of wood. You can enjoy a good selection of food and wine while appreciating the beautiful natural scenery and welcoming ambience. There are three “Case del Vino” and it is worth visiting each to taste a superb glass of Romagna’s wine.
Enoteca Ca’ de Vèn
The Ca’ de Vén occupies the ground floor of an old building in the historic center of Ravenna and offers warm hospitality to tourists and the residents of Ravenna, leading Maestro Pierre Boulez to comment, “It’s like being at home.”
Originally serving only wine, piadina and cold cuts, still in great demand, the menu has gradually expanded to include both older and more modern dishes while respecting traditional quality. While enjoying your meal you can admire the frescoed ceilings and the shelves dating back to the 1800s, lined with bottles that recount the history of Romagna’s or, depending on the table you choose, you can sit bathed in the wonderful light of the Winter Garden.

Enoteca Ca’ de Bè
The Ca’ de Bè, whose rooms and furnishings were refurbished in 2011, still serves the foods and wines linked to traditional local cuisine – primarily the piadina flatbreads with cheese and cold cuts – adapted to today’s tastes and lifestyles.
The wine list includes bottles from roughly fifty wineries in Romagna belonging to the Consorzio Vini di Romagna. The Romagna Sangiovese DOC and Albana Romagna DOCG are particularly worthy of note thanks to the outstanding level of production in the hills around Bertinoro.
Bertinoro is cited as ìRomagna’s most beautiful terrace.î In fact, on a clear day the terrace of the Ca’ de Beà – the most beautiful in Bertinoro – affords views sweeping down to the sea and at night you can enjoy the fascinating array of lights along the coastline.

Osteria di Piazza Nuova
The Osteria di Piazza Nuova in Bagnacavallo fascinates and impresses visitors even before they enter. The restaurant is set within an oval-shaped piazza enclosed by a portico, built in the mid ‘700s to house shops and warehouses, and later workshops and even a tavern with a kitchen.
An extensive use of wood provides warmth and elegance to the three cozy rooms, where you can enjoy cuisine that combines tradition and innovation. Here you can sip a glass of wine while admiring the beautiful outlook over the Piazza Nuova, which has provided inspiration for many artists, from Vittorio Gassman who chose this setting for his reading of Dante on television, to the directors who have used it as a movie set.
